About Us
The National Fluoride Information Centre (NFIC) is England's only independent information centre for fluorides and fluoridation and was established to improve awareness of fluoride and its many uses.
Providing objective advice and information to the general public and healthcare professionals, NFIC is based at the University of Manchester and employs independent scientific and dental experts to produce up-to-date information on all types of fluoride use.
We hope this information will help both professionals and the public understand more about fluoride and its many uses and ultimately help people to achieve, and maintain, better oral health.
What We Do
The National Fluoride Information Centre (NFIC) offers advice and information through a public access website, telephone helpline (0161 278 8948), information leaflets, and Email and postal requests.
